Tuesday, January 12, 2010 Haiti was dying, as a 7.0 earthquake destroyed her homes, hospitals and schools. Men and women ran back and forth in the streets. Children called for their parents. White washed buildings lay crumbled all around them. But this was just another problem to add to the long list.

That day in our schools Program for Global Citizenship, a three year concentration program, we (Brianna and Lily) discussed how we could help to make a difference. After entering our third and final year in the program we discovered what we could do. We would design a non-profit business that would appeal to a diverse group of people, while aiding a country crying for help. We combined our life long passions of making jewelry and our focus of creating a global change.
